Hawthorn star helped off with shoulder concern amid pre-season crisis

Hawthorn's Will Day is the latest victim of the pre-season injury crisis, exiting training with what appears to be a right shoulder injury.

Having spent a majority of the 2025 season on the sidelines due to ongoing foot concerns, Day has been undergoing a modified training program.

Unfortunately for Day and the Hawks, the midfielder was captured cradling what appears to be a serious shoulder concern, helped off by trainers during Hawthorn's pre-season session in Dingley.

Concerns have arisen given Day's history with his right shoulder - the same shoulder that cut his 2024 season short.
