Swans midfielder knocked out in alleged assault in Sydney

Sydney Swans midfielder Taylor Adams has been released from hospital after being knocked unconscious in an alleged bar fight in Sydney.

According to NSW police, the 32-year-old was caught in an alleged altercation with two men outside a Sydney venue at approximately 10:10pm on Saturday night, where Adams was allegedly assaulted.

The report states that Adams was struck in the face, being knocked to the ground and allegedly losing consciousness. Adams also suffered a minor cut on his cheek.

The Sydney Swans released the following statement on Sunday morning:

“Adams was taken to hospital after the incident for further assessment. He was released from hospital at 7am Sunday morning and will be monitored on a daily basis.

“The Sydney Swans does not tolerate violence in any form and is working with Adams and NSW police to identify the offender.”
