Miles Pfitzner

Tricky little Thursday and trying to line up some debutants and horses up and down in grade.

I think if we play today with the best horses in some particular races or horses with the best form around them then we get out alive. Value to be had in some maidens today as well, a couple of two bet plays live on air in double figures. Go well but easy.

BALLARAT

Race 1 | 6. Cavill Avenue
Race 6 | 12. M'Lady Rose
Race 7 | 3. Morryl Moral

WYONG

Race 7 | 6. Bruce I Am
Race 8 | 2. Easiest Choice

Cam Luke

BALLARAT

Race 7 | 3. Morryl Moral

Could argue he should have won the Stawell Cup when he jogged behind horses at the turn. This is easier although he does have to carry the weight. 2000m is his jam and maybe a little give helps him but no struggler on top of the ground. He won't do any work in the run and he is the type of the horse who will enjoy Ballarat (was ok his only time here ages ago) If he gets clear galloping room when it matters and he can build momentum he will gov eery close!

Race 8 | 3. Documentary

Haven't seen him since he was pretty good at Echuca in a tougher race than this! Being on top of the ground is a plus and I like the 1100m in this lower class. Has had a little spin around in a jumpout since which will help fitness. Can stalk Gerty who is the leader and danger but the 1100m sees her out. Will need a little luck at some point but fairly confident he is the class runner and as long as he gets it, he wins!

WYONG

I've had the multi all of these three to win! Copy the best on the Sportsbet Feed!

Race 5 | 5. Capital Illusion

Was pretty good at the debut but I do like the step back in trip (1200-1000m) Little green but the experience of another race day should help! Drawn well and will go hard early and be guided by the fence. The from behind BH is easily good enough for thus and he is short enough at $2.40 but will be hard to top. Only Dirty Summer can challenge. Was good on debut and another who back to the 1000 will suit after tiring late over the 1100m. Claim is good and he will stalk the fav. I've taken the exacta and the quinella and both in the quad!
Race 6 | 5. Fairway To Heaven

Stays at the 1100m with a slightly quicker turnaround than last start. Drawn really well to go and control it with TC. On top of the ground works in her favour if we get an upgrade but a soft 5 wont pull her up! Her best which with her fitness should be optimum today will win this!

Race 7 | 6. Bruce I Am

Was brillaint on debut when he simply belted them. Had trailed a bunch of times and it showed. He won untouched and responded to more rein really well. He seems like as horse who will enjoy the 1100m today (and further again). He will sit outside Poisonous (probably behind Revolutionary Star) in the run and propel off the turn like last start! Will improve from his debut and he is a big strong boy who will be hard to beat in a decent race. RS is the danger!

WAGGA

Race 4 | 11. So D'Oro

Forget last start in a much much tougher race as she get back on top of the ground as well. Won't have to work as hard to lead today with less pressure. She is drawn nicely to control the race and is fairly nicely weighted. Expect he to run a huge race!

Race 6 | 9. Hunter One

This girl has been looking for the 1200m and gets it today from pole where she box seat! She got a tad far back last start, albeit with no major luck when needed and expect her to be a lot closer. She will be ready to peak 3rd up and this race isn't dripping in cream. She is the one to beat!

Race 7 | 5. Rue De Royale

Is absolutely the class horse in the main sprint. We get a price because he gets the shocking Vic gate. His win last start was great and DZ will win on Saturday. The faster they go will be better for him and he is well weighted with a good jockey in the seat. Good track is perfect and thus prep he has become a 1200m horse. He will go forward and if he gets to the lead or slots in behind Harry's Bar and Ticklebelly he will win. Luck is key and if he gets it, all over!
