After five seasons with Geelong, Tyson Stengle has mutually parted ways with the club.

The 2022 All-Australian has not played a match in 2026, having dealt with personal issues.

Across his five seasons with the club, Stengle kicked 160 goals across 93 games, which included a premiership in 2022.

In a statement, Stengle thanked the Cats for the support they provided to him.

“Thank you so much to the Geelong Footy Club,” he said.

“In particular, to my teammates, the coaching staff, the support staff and most importantly to the fans. Your unwavering and loyal support through the great times and the tough times has meant more to me than you will ever know.

“I am deeply grateful, and look forward to supporting the Club as a fan.”

Geelong’s next match takes place on August 8 when they host the Bombers at GMHBA Stadium.
