SEN’s Crunch Time understands that North Melbourne caretaker coach Rhyce Shaw is set to win the full time senior job as soon as next week.
Gerard Whateley announced the news during the show.
“As I understand it, Rhyce Shaw will be announced as North Melbourne coach next week,” he said.
“They have run their process, he was interviewed Monday night, it went exactly how they hoped and they’re convinced that it’s going to be him.”
Whateley went on to reveal that Michael Voss did not interview for the North Melbourne coaching job as he is all in on the Carlton job.
Shaw has led the Roos since the mid-point of the season and has developed a tough brand of footy and a strong culture in a short period of time.
3AW’s Caroline Wilson is reporting that he will sign a three-year deal.
In Round 19 we are proud to launch Ronald McDonald House Charity Round on AFL Nation.
Across every game we will be raising money with all proceeds going to providing a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families.
