Collingwood has signed 202cm Senegalese basketballer Bassirou Faye to their list.
The 18-year-old joins the Magpies on an International Rookie Scholarship, according to AFL Media’s Mitch Cleary.
Faye is currently out of the country and will need to complete 14 days of quarantine upon entering.
He reportedly impressed in summer trials with the Oakleigh Chargers.
Faye is ineligible to play unless upgraded to the AFL list at the end of the season.
The teenager will likely play out the NAB League season for the Chargers once he returns to Australia.
The Magpies have made good use of international rookie drafting, previously using it to bring in Mason Cox.
