Fremantle star Nat Fyfe has a bad case of the yips in front of goal.
Fyfe was again off target in the Dockers’ Round 8 loss to Brisbane, missing two gettable shots to finish with one goal and three behinds.
The dual Brownlow Medallist kicked 0.6 against Hawthorn in Round 4 and 0.4 against North Melbourne in Round 6 before finally snapping a run of 12 straight behinds.
Dockers great Matthew Pavlich says Fyfe can’t be considered the competition’s best player if his goalkicking remains as wayward as it currently is.

“People mention how good a player he (Fyfe) is, which he is,” Pavlich told SEN WA Breakfast with Gilly and Goss.
“But you can’t be in the conversation for the best player in the competition if you kick 2.15, you just can’t.
The Dockers were made to pay for a slow start in last Sunday's rescheduled match against the Lions at the Gabba.
“Halfway through the third quarter yesterday (Sunday) two of Fremantle’s best players ever – David Mundy and Nat Fyfe – had seven kicks between them," Pavlich said.
“Some of Andy Brayshaw’s decision making wasn’t great either, so they’ve got some things to get right in the midfield mix at the moment.”
Fyfe, 29, has kicked 160 goals and 128 behinds across his decorated 194-game career.
Fremantle will look to snap a two-game losing streak against Essendon (2-6) at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.
