Why Suns should “seriously consider” Crows forward

Jordan Lewis has implored the Gold Coast Suns to look at recruiting Adelaide forward Tom Lynch.

Lynch will depart West Lakes at season’s end as the Crows look to aggressively overhaul their list.

The 30-year-old’s recent performances have shown he still has much to offer at AFL level and Lewis believes he would be an ideal fit at the Suns.

“Tom Lynch is a funny one because we haven’t seen much of him of late,” Lewis said on SEN Breakfast.

“I suppose you look into the character and the ability to perform and all that, for me, stacks up.

“If I’m Gold Coast, I’m seriously considering looking at Tom Lynch.

“I still think he’s got a lot to offer and in terms of the quality of the person and the leadership characteristics that he’s got, adds value to Gold Coast immensely.”

Lynch hasn’t thought about his next move as his time at the Crows comes to an end.

“I haven’t actually entertained or even thought about playing anywhere else,” the veteran Crow said on SEN SA Breakfast.

“Based on the fact that I’m still playing, it doesn’t feel real just yet.

“We’ll see where that lands and what’s next.”

Lynch, an unrestricted free agent, has kicked 202 goals in 163 AFL games.
