Greater Western Sydney forward Ian 'Bobby' Hill has requested a trade to a Victorian club, according to Fox Footy’s Tom Morris.
His request is reportedly based on compassionate reasons, the 21-year-old wishing to be closer to family in Melbourne to support his pregnant partner.
However, the young Giant is contracted to the club for next year and it’s understood GWS’ position is that he will not be traded.
At least two Victorian clubs are believed to be interested in securing Hill’s services.
He has managed 30 games during his three years at the Giants, averaging two inside 50s and just under a goal a game throughout 2021.
