Carlton has revealed at least four players are still on modified training programs ahead of the players’ Christmas break.
Sam Walsh headlines the list, with the 22-year-old star continuing to manage back soreness that ruled him out of Round 23.
Walsh will not partake in skills training before Christmas as a result.

Meanwhile, Marc Pittonet began running again this week after a PCL reconstruction at the end of the season, with plans to integrate him back into main training in January. The same can be said for George Hewett, who missed the last five games of the season with a back injury.
Lachie Fogarty is the other Blue who underwent back surgery, with Carlton again stating plans for him to return in January to skills training.
Matthew Kennedy (foot) and Corey Durdin (shoulder) have both returned to skills training.
Carlton head of football Brad Lloyd recently told SEN the Blues expect to be “full steam ahead” in January in relation to the health of the club’s list.
