Which players should have been given coaches votes for their Round 12 performances?
Champion Data’s Daniel Hoyne has named the five players who were perhaps overlooked by the coaches on the weekend.
The below guys ranked high in Champion Data’s ratings yet did not receive any votes.
See the five players below:
Adam Saad (Carlton)
“The number one rated general defender from the weekend,” Hoyne said on SEN’s Sportsday.
“Second highest rated player on the ground and didn’t get a vote from the coaches.”
Darcy Moore (Collingwood)
“No player has had more impact through defensive actions in a game of footy this year than what Darcy Moore did on the weekend.
“He was the fourth highest rated player on the ground as a result, but didn’t get a vote.”
Massimo D’Ambrosio (Hawthorn)
“He is absolutely flying.
“Fourth highest rated player in that game against Adelaide.”
Jack Sinclair (St Kilda)
“Jack Sinclair is back to having the impact he’s had over the last couple of years.
“He was the second highest rated player in that game.
“He’s now into the top 20 rated players across the season.”
Tom Atkins (Geelong)
“Just want to give Tom Atkins a little bit of love.
“Fourth highest rated played on the ground. That was the best performance of his season.
“Didn’t get a vote, but had a career-high 10 clearances. He was important in turning that game around for the Cats.”
