Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has ranked his top 10 players in the AFL ahead of Round 16 of the 2024 season.

Cummings releases his power rankings weekly on SEN WA Breakfast and didn’t make any changes ahead of Round 16 after bringing in Patrick Cripps for Christian Petracca in his last edition.

Check out his top 10 below.

10. Caleb Serong (Fremantle)

“Caleb Serong is hanging on at 10. He was good on the weekend but wasn’t their best.

“I’m not saying this to antagonise Fremantle supporters … they can still win if he doesn’t play that well. Does he really hurt the opposition as much as the other players on this list?”

9. Max Gawn (Melbourne)

“He’s gone from eight to nine. As good as Max is, will he have a big impact as Melbourne struggle?”

8. Patrick Cripps (Carlton)

“He’s come in from 10th to eight and he’s coming with a bullet.”

7. Charlie Curnow (Carlton)

6. Zach Merrett (Essendon)

5. Errol Gulden (Sydney)

“He doesn’t move. The hardest thing about ranking Sydney’s three in the top five is because they just take turns with who is going to dominate.”

4. Chad Warner (Sydney)

3. Marcus Bontempelli (Western Bulldogs)

2. Nick Daicos (Collingwood)

1. Isaac Heeney (Sydney)
