Shock entrant as Coleman Medallist power ranks his top 10 AFL players ahead of Round 18

Coleman Medallist Scott Cummings has ranked his top 10 players in the AFL ahead of Round 18 of the 2024 season.

Cummings releases his power rankings weekly on SEN WA Breakfast and brought in two new names this week in Fremantle’s Josh Treacy and Brisbane’s Lachie Neale.

The two to make way for that duo were Melbourne’s Max Gawn and Fremantle’s Caleb Serong.

10. Josh Treacy (Fremantle)

“They cannot win games without Josh Treacy having a massive influence.

“I think he is now their most important player … he takes marks under pressure.

“He comes in at number 10.”

9. Lachie Neale (Brisbane)

“Lachie Neale comes in and out goes Gawn and Serong.”

8. Charlie Curnow (Carlton)
Previous ranking: 8

“He’s hanging on, but I’ve still got faith that Curnow will have a really big impact towards the end of the season.”
