SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 18.

Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.

Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.

1. Collingwood
vs Geelong – MCG – Friday night

“Number one on the pressure meter for me is Collingwood,” Russell told SEN Afternoons.

“They’re not playing well, their defence is struggling and they’ve lost the past two games.

“They’re currently ninth and you don't want to be ninth when the music stops.

“The premiership defence would be on the ropes if they loses tomorrow night.”

2. Melbourne
vs Essendon – MCG – Saturday night

“Melbourne are number two for me.

“They’re currently 10th and facing Essendon which is another eight point game.

“It's not just the four points that Melbourne will lose. It's the four points you give Essendon to shore up their finals spot which you want.

“So, Melbourne's number two for mine.”

3. Western Bulldogs
vs Carlton – Marvel Stadium – Saturday

“Three is the Bulldogs.

“They’re 11th right now and they face Carlton. It was a bad loss last week against the Power.

“They’re also in real danger of missing finals.”

4. Port Adelaide
vs Gold Coast – People First Stadium – Sunday

“I've got Port Adelaide at four on the pressure meter now.

“Port has a perfect opportunity … you can't keep promising and not delivering.

“This is their moment and I think this year's flag race is open for Port Adelaide if they win.

“Port has to beat the Suns on the weekend.”

5. Fremantle
vs Hawthorn – UTAS Stadium – Sunday

“I've got Fremantle at five on the pressure meter.

“This year's flag race is also open for Fremantle to actually steal one this year.

“Second spot is even a chance, not just making finals. From second, you might be able to win a Grand Final or steal a flag without having to play an away game in the finals.

“The Power and Dockers have a very rare open window right now if they're good enough and I think Fremantle has to beat Hawthorn.

“Everyone will start talking about Fremantle if they win this weekend because they would be a top-two contender.”
