The Olympic Games rolls into the second week of competition with a busy schedule of events featuring New Zealand.

Saturday night (NZT) has the potential of being another memorable hour on the water with Emma Twigg lining up to defend her women's single sculls gold medal from Tokyo 2020, plus Tom Mackintosh racing for gold in the men's single sculls.

Also, the men's golf continues with Ryan Fox (T30) and Daniel Hillier (59th) looking to improve their standings in the third round at Le Golf National.

It will be a busy day on the water for the sailing team as well with Josh Armit and Veerle ten Have racing to go beyond the men's and women's windsurfing quarter-finals. The multihull Nacra and dinghy classes also continue their series.

If that's not enough water action for you, the ultra-cool kayak cross sees Luuka Jones in the women's event, and Finn Butch in the men's. And Erika Fairweather will be in the pool chasing a medal in the women's 800m freestyle final on Sunday morning (NZT).

Speaking of Sunday - set those alarms for 5am with Jacko Gill and Tom Walsh on deck for the men's shot put final at Stade de France, while Zoe Hobbs sets her sights for a potential women's 100m final berth.

Be sure to check in with senzradio.nz Sunday morning for results and photos of Kiwis in action.
