Consistent galloper who has a big finish & for the first time in his career gets out to a mile which to my eye he’s now looking for. He gave that indication when running on strongly over 1350m two back & backed it up the latest when steady to the line making ground over the same trip. Leading jockey Jimmy Orman jumps on which is a very positive engagement.

RACE 9 # 13 TECTONIC PLATE

Absolutely flying at present & will line up this afternoon looking for her fourth consecutive win. The impressive part about her streak is all have been whilst sitting wide in the run yet she’s still been strong when it counts. A wide trip may again be the case with an awkward draw however with Tahlia Fenlon’s claim will carry a very light weight (around 50kg).

Eagle Farm trained galloper who has only had the 3 starts for Rob Heathcote winning twice & being beaten less than a length the other. He resumed last prep with a barnstorming finishing burst to overhaul then run past the leader clocking a super quick sectional. He looked to have plenty in the tank in his recent trial & a similar finish will have him in the money this afternoon.
