It was another big week on The Run Home with hosts Kirstie Stanway and Stephen “Beaver” Donald.

Following a fourth straight Test loss to South Africa for the All Blacks, and a nail biting Ranfurly Shield match in the NPC, there was plenty of rugby to unpack.

But of course, rugby isn’t the only sport that dominates 3-6pm weekdays, right?

From Olympic speed climbing, to squash, and a trip down memory lane - this is the best from the week that was on SENZ's The Run Home with Kirst and Beav.

Paul Coll
Kiwi squash star Paul Coll will be the headline act for the New Zealand Squash Open next year.

The World No. 3 is back competing and gave Kirst & Beav a little sneak peek on what next season holds. Coll shares his goals for the upcoming campaign, as well as his plans for the future with his eyes set on a big event happening in 2028.

Julian David
Kirst caught up with Kiwi Olympic speed climber Julian David following his Olympic Games debut at Paris 2024

Julian shares what the experience was like and what the future holds for the French-born 19-year-old who calls Tauranga home.

Vern Cotter
It has been 20 years since the Bay of Plenty made the trek to Auckland where they stormed into Eden Park and stole the Ranfurly Shield off the blue and white hoops.

The one and only Vern Cotter was steering the Steamers' ship back in 2004 and he shares some excellent stories from the win and reveals a few behind the scene secrets to that famous 33-28 victory.
