Hodge and Cornes' tips and predictions for AFL Semi-Finals

Luke Hodge and Kane Cornes have made their picks for this weekend’s AFL Semi-Final matchups.

The Hawthorn great made his picks on SENQ Breakfast on Wednesday, while Cornes’ picks came on SEN Breakfast’s Fireball Friday.

Port Adelaide versus Hawthorn

“I reckon the Hawks will get over the line against Port Adelaide with the form that they’re in,” Hodge said.

Hodge’s Tip: Hawthorn

“Hawthorn have been on the biggest tear you’ve ever seen, and Port got knocked off by 84 points last week,” Cornes said.

“They (Port Adelaide) now have no Kane Farrell, Ryan Burton and Dan Houston … I’m certain, I was certain that Brisbane were going to smash Carlton last week (and I’m certain Hawthorn win on Friday).

“I’m going to go with Hawthorn by 14 points.”

Cornes’ Tip: Hawthorn by 14 points

GWS versus Brisbane

“I think that the Lions can get over the top of the Giants, we have got to get them over the top,” Hodge said.

“It’s time for them to hit their straps. Wouldn’t that be a big one again, Lions v Cats in a Preliminary Final at the MCG.”
