Arrowfield Stud’s John Messara believes Autumn Glow is in a similar ilk to the great Miss Finland.
Autumn Glow, the three-year-old filly, made it three wins from three career starts with a comfortable victory in the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes at Randwick on Saturday.
It has been a faultless beginning to her racing career and her potential is such that Messara is talking about her in the same breath as Miss Finland who won 11 races between 2006 and 2008.
She won three of her first five career starts before becoming a five-time Group 1 winner for Arrowfield.
“Everyone wants to tell me that she’s super exceptional,” Messara said of Autumn Glow on SENTrack’s Giddy Up.
“She looks it so far. She really hasn’t been tested properly where she’s all out.
“The best filly we’ve had is Miss Finland and she’s looking like a Miss Finland at this stage. She was a put in, take out job, Miss Finland.
“I think this filly is appearing to be in the same ilk.”
The daughter of The Autumn Sun who is trained by Chris Waller will next run in the Flight Stakes at Randwick on October 5.
