Hogan holds off Giants stars to claim first B&F

Jesse Hogan has won the Kevin Sheedy Medal as the GWS Giants best and fairest for 2024.

The key forward adds the Giants club champion award to his 2024 Coleman Medal and maiden All-Australian selection.

He polled 67 votes to hold off gun midfielder Tom Green and two-time past winner Lachie Whitfield who tied in second on 66.

Connor Idun (56) and Brent Daniels (50) rounded out the top five.

Other award winners on the night included Hogan who won the leading goal kicker award as well as the Members Choice Award. He also tied with Green and Jack Buckley for the Best Finals Players. Toby Bedford won the Coaches Award, Callan Ward won the Community Award and Darcy Jones claimed the Rising Star Award.
