While regular host Scotty Stevenson is enjoying a holiday overseas, Kimberlee Downs was in the hot this seat alongside Israel Dagg for a big week as we reflected on the Rugby Championship and previewed the NRL Grand Final between the Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers.

Plus, ongoing discussions around the America’s Cup, the Black Ferns WXV campaign and the women’s T20 World Cup involving the White Ferns.

This is the best from the week that was on SENZ Breakfast:

Sonny Billy Williams:
The All Blacks broke the 'caketin curse' by defeating the Wallabies 33-13 at Sky Stadium last weekend in the second Bledisloe Cup Test.

Sky Stadium played host to a special night with Sam Cane receiving his 100th Test cap and TJ Perenara running out for his last home game in the black jersey - SBW joined Kim & Izzy on Monday to reflect on what happened.

The President's Cup:
Golf writer Brentley Romine joined us on Tuesday to discuss the President’s Cup, where the Americans took an entertaining win against the Internationals at the Royal Montreal Golf Club.

Mike Hesson:
What a week it has been for the Blackcaps! The team landed back in New Zealand following a disastrous 2-0 Test series defeat in Sri Lanka with fans and pundits alike calling for changes.

That change did come in the form of Tim Southee stepping down from his role as New Zealand's Test captain. Kim & Izzy caught up with someone who knows the veteran bowler quite well, former Blackcaps head coach Mike Hesson.

Mark Robinson:
New Zealand Rugby chief executive Mark Robinson took the short walk down the hallway to join us in studio to round out the week, talking the Rugby Championship, the upcoming Northern Hemisphere tour, the NPC, and more.

Tune into Scotty & Izzy from 6-9am weekdays on SENZ, available on the SENZ app or find your local frequency here.
