Astute form analyst Jules Vallance has five runners he is particularly keen on at Flemington on Saturday.

In The Damien Oliver in Race 4 over 1400m, Vallance has opted to side with Jimmysstar over Another Wil with the pair dominating the market.

“I think Jimmysstar will beat Another Wil,” Vallance said on SENTrack’s Giddy Up.

“I really like both of these horse and I think Another Wil probably gets the map advantage, but I just think the setup for Jimmysstar is better.

“I’ve taken an opinion in that race and I don’t know why but I have a hard opinion.

“I’ve marked Jimmysstar at around $2.50 and Another Wil $4.

“Both horses are very, very good but just for this race I’ve heavily gone with Jimmysstar for whatever reason.”

Jimmysstar is currently the $2.50 favourite with Sportsbet ahead of Another Wil at $3.40.

Elsewhere, Vallance is keen to be with favourite Powers Of Opal ($2.40) in the Group 2 Wakeful Stakes (2000m)

“Backing Powers Of Opal to win the Wakeful.”

Plus Goldrush Guru each-way ($9.50) in the feature race the Group 1 VRC Derby (2500m).

“Backing Goldrush Guru each-way in the Derby.”

Then last-start Valley winner Plenty Of Ammo ($6.50) in the Group 1 Empire Rose.

“Love the seven-day backup for this horse. It’s only the third run of the prep, so not deep into the prep.

“I like the number she did at The Valley last start. She will be right there near the speed and I reckon she’s a real tough horse.

“Plenty Of Ammo hard each-way.”

Before finishing off with Pondalowie ($6) in the Furphy Sprint (1100m).

“In the last, which is an absolute belter of a Group 3 race, I’m with Pondalowie. She’s come back great.”
