Ex-Victorian now a trained out of Toowoomba he won twice from three attempts on his home track in very convincing fashion before coming to town his latest when a dominant winner here over 1500m. He went forward from the wide draw & once reaching the lead in the straight just continued to extend his margin to the line. Wide gate again, look for another positive ride.

One time Queensland trained galloper who is now with the Matt Dunn yard (Murwillumbah). His past couple at Randwick in Highway grade have been strong finishing seconds over this preferred 1000m trip & he does appreciate his races spaced which is the case once again today with a 5-week gap since the latest of those placings. Watch for him to get the outside in the straight & dash home.
