Every pick from the 2024 AFL Rookie and Pre-Season Drafts

The AFL Rookie and Pre-Season Drafts for this year took place on Friday afternoon.
The Pre-Season Draft saw Jack Gunston re-listed by Hawthorn, while Gold Coast added former Brisbane forward Sam Day as somewhat of a Joe Daniher replacement.
In the Rookie Draft, a total of 24 players were added by clubs – with many delisted players relisted by their current clubs following on from the 71 picks made in the National Draft across both Wednesday and Thursday nights.
The two names that received AFL lifelines were Ben Paton, who was picked up by Sydney after being cut by the Saints and Max Knobel, who joined Gold Coast after being cut by Fremantle.
Eight players out of the 24 read out joined AFL lists for the first time.
