India continue to hold strong momentum on day three as they enter tea with a commanding lead of 405 runs.
The Aussies, unlike yesterday, have been able to send a few of the Indian batsmen back to the sheds within this second session, taking four wickets and ultimately having the visitors at 5/359.
The highlight of the day has been the continuous batting of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has finished his second innings in Perth with 161 runs off 297 balls.
Mitchell Marsh was the man to dismiss the 22-year old, who formed quite a formattable partnership with fellow opener Kl Rahul.
Rahul was the first wicket to fall for the day and the innings, which looked to have potentially given Australia hope to wrestle their way back into the contest.
But event though the likes of Devdutt Padikkal (25), Rishabh Pant (1) and Dhruv Jurel (1) all fell cheaply, India still look to be in cruise control and will most likely decide to bat out the rest of the day.
Play will resume for the final session of day three at 6:20pm (AEDT) and 3:20pm (local time).
