Under-fire Carlton president Luke Sayers the subject of an AFL investigation following nude pic scandal

Under-fire Carlton president Luke Sayers is the subject of an AFL investigation.

Sayers has come under increasing scrutiny after a photo of a penis was sent from his X account to a female executive of a key Blues sponsor.

The AFL, Carlton and the sponsor refuse to comment, but SEN understands the league has been investigating the matter for the past week.

Carlton also referred the matter to the AFL as per normal procedure.

The nude pic was posted late on Wednesday, January 8 and was up for more than 10 minutes before being removed.

“Sorry my account has been hacked – please ignore all posts”, Sayers wrote.

The Blues boss, who was re-elected for 2025 at the start of last year, has insisted he was hacked and that he would leave no stone unturned to find out who was responsible.

Sayers remains in Italy on holiday with his family.
