SEN SA host Kym Dillon is tipping Adelaide to rise from bottom-four finishers in 2024 to premiers in 2025.
While the Crows finished 15th last season, Dillon thinks that the Crows are capable of going all the way with their list having the right ingredients and depth to finish the season holding the cup aloft.
Dillon also believes that Adelaide’s early draw could really set up a flag tilt as they play St Kilda, Essendon (away), North Melbourne, Gold Coast (away), Geelong and GWS in their first six weeks of the season.
“I'm genuinely tipping Adelaide to win the flag,” Dillon told SEN SA The Run Home.
“I genuinely think they can win it. We’re assessing the form of 18 clubs and there are so many things that can happen throughout a season.
“But I think they're capable. I think they've got the ingredients, they've got the depth and they've got a really good draw.
“They could be 6-0 after the first six games and at worst they should be 4-2. That’s not a bad platform.”
While Dillon’s co-host Michelangelo Rucci also expects the Crows to play finals and finish fifth, he can’t see Matthew Nicks’ side going all the way with such a big leap needed to climb 14 spots.
“I think you're going out on a big limb there,” Rucci said.
“I think they'll take steps, Adelaide. But I can’t see them going from 15th to a flag.”
