Been racing in good heart, three placings in a row, before another ok effort last start. Smart claim, Jett Newman is a rising star, likes a soft deck, and the horse's two wins have been over this trip. Fit and ready to win again. $3.80.

Sam Hyland

Newcastle: Race 3, No.1 - Spenzalot ran super first time out but was a bit new and green. Ella Drew rode him well last start but just rolled around on her, I think with Mitch Stapleford on board today he will be a bit stronger & get him over the line. He will win.

Coffs Harbour: Race 7, No.8 - Taking The Mikki will be improved from the first-up run & should put himself not far off speed here. Has a bit of weight relief with Teighan Worsnop on board & he has good second-up form.
