BALLARAT

Race 3 | 6. Thinxzo

Barriers win races and this was evident last start. Posted three wide on speed. Expect an easier run today from a better gate and not much speed outside of him. Can control the race and staying at the 1400m helps after the torrid run last start. Adamana will be fav but will need to better out than debut which do expect but will be giving Thinxzo a few lengths and that should be the difference.

Race 5 | 2. Dillinger

Will barely go around a horse and will dictate the race. Has won second up before and back to the mile is another huge plus. I think that race last start will have a winner later in the day (Salchow) and it all adds up to this bloke winning albeit at a short price.

TAREE

Race 2 | 10. Golden Smile

Was ok first up being slow away bit hit the line well suggesting the 1600m is perfect. Slow track no concern and will get back from the gate but I expect some speed to be on headlined by the fav Jason Darren. I think Cup Of Ambition will pressure the fave giving Golden Smile a chance to rattle home.

Race 4 | 1. Pocket Eights

Got a little squeeze early last start and got back a rad further than probably wanted. Had a six-week break freshen up prior to that and told a little bit in the straight. Expect more fitness today and up to the 1400m also helps. This is easier than scone as well and will rake a mountain of beating with Aaron Bullock on top just as he was for its only win!!

Race 7 | 7. Zoom Outcome

Keeps showing up and running well and has been good in better races than this. Drawn perfectly so hoping with the claim he can be a little closer in the running than normal. Soft / heavy track is a non-issue and has won third up before!!

Campbell Brown

BALLARAT

Race 3 | 6. Thinxzo

Been building towards a win having improved with each run. Boxed on well for second last start at Bendigo where it had to do a bit of work from a wide gate. Drawn barrier 2 today, stays at 1400m, hard fit. Should lead and win $4.20.

TAREE

Race 3 | 2. Purple Kitty

Second up today, should be handy from a wide gate. Comes out of same race as favourite Crazy Mikki. Good each-way price at $6.

ROCKHAMPTON

Race 1 | 2. Finsceal

Coming out of stronger races, enjoys 1600m and the sting out of the ground. Will stalk the speed and be strong late $2.05.
