The AFL’s host broadcaster, Channel Seven, has locked in its commentary team for the 2026 season.

The new addition to the call team is Hawthorn legend Shane Crawford, with the Brownlow Medallist joining the network’s commentary ranks.

The group will again be led by callers Brian Taylor, James Brayshaw, Hamish McLachlan and Alister Nicholson, while Jack Heverin joins the Sunday team.

Seven’s experts again include Kane Cornes, Luke Hodge, Abbey Holmes, Nick Riewoldt, Matthew Richardson, Daisy Pearce, Dale Thomas, Joel Selwood, Kate McCarthy, Erin Phillips, Chad Wingard, Cameron Ling, Jobe Watson, Campbell Brown and Jude Bolton, while current player Scott Pendlebury also sits in the expert chair for select rounds throughout the season.

After a successful first season, Agenda Setters returns in 2026, which will now extend to a third night every Wednesday. Collingwood captain Darcy Moore is set to appear regularly on that Wednesday show throughout the season.

Seven also has several docuseries in the works, with one centring on legendary caller Dennis Cometti, called ‘Centimetre Perfect’.

Full Sweat is also back in 2026 after debuting in 2025, as Hawthorn were followed throughout the pre-season. This time, both St Kilda and Collingwood have been featured.

Shows Unfiltered with Hamish McLachlan, Extra Time, Sunday Footy Feast and fan-favourite The Front Bar are also back for 2026.
