Fresh off the PNG Chiefs' making their first two signings, Andrew Voss has predicted who they will sign next.
It’s been a whirlwind week for the NRL’s 19th side, who have secured the signatures of Wests Tigers captain and star half Jarome Luai and the NRL’s greatest try scorer, Alex Johnston, for their inaugural season in 2028.
With those signings and the bonus of their salaries being tax-exempt, it has seen plenty of speculation rise in players joining the franchise.
Having signed two backs, Voss believes that the club should look to get an experienced forward.
With that in mind, he thinks the Chiefs should look to bring in Cronulla’s Cam McInnes.

The lock comes off contract at the end of the season after five years of service with the Sharks.
And given his experience and leadership, Voss thinks it would make for a great fit for their culture.
“I think Cameron McInnes, who has been pretty vocal (about joining the Chiefs), I reckon he might be the next piece to the Chiefs puzzle,” Voss said on SEN’s Vossy’s Verdict.
“I think now you get (Alex) Johnston (and) Jarome Luai (at the) Chiefs, fits the bill.
“Cameron McInnes, let's get a forward leader in there, has captained clubs previously.
“I think that gets together a nice start a very strategic start to their acquisitions of players.”
