Western Bulldogs midfielder Tom Liberatore will be unavailable for an indefinite period after suffering another concussion in Sunday’s loss to Hawthorn.
Liberatore suffered the head knock late in the defeat, marking his second concussion in a short space of time after also going down in Round 5 against Essendon.
The club says they’ll put the 31-year-old’s health and well-being before a return-to-play plan is determined.
If Liberatore wasn’t sidelined through injury, SEN’s Sam Edmund is reporting he would have missed the club’s Round 9 clash against Richmond after being hit with a one-match ban for a dangerous tackle on Hawthorn’s Will Day.
The Bulldogs have confirmed Liberatore has concussion and given it's a second head injury in three weeks the club has ruled him out indefinitely while a return-to-play plan is formulated. https://t.co/GxWaVhPx8e
