Shaun Johnson is back!
Those are the words the Warriors faithful would have been waiting to hear Tuesday as the clock ticked down closer to 6pm's squad announcements.
The One NZ Warriors face the Parramatta Eels on Friday night, who will be without star playmaker Mitchell Moses - but all eyes will be on the Auckland-based club's halves combination of Johnson and Chanel Harris-Tavita, with Te Maire Martin sent back to reserve grade.
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad also makes a return from injury, facing off against Eels fullback Clinton Gutherson, while Roger Tuivasa-Sheck shifts to the wing, creating a hyphenated yet exciting back three of Nicoll-Klokstad, Tuivasa-Sheck and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.
This week's special guest on Running It Straight is former Cook Islands representative Brad Takairangi who played 110 NRL games for Parramatta, along with stints with the Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast Titans.
Hosts Sam Hewat and Anthony Gelling also put a lens on the rest of the matches around the competition in Round 22.
Join SENZ for live commentary of the Warriors vs Eels from Go Media Stadium this Friday, coverage begins 6pm ahead of the 8pm kick-off - available on the SENZ app and all local frequencies.
