SENTrack’s Miles Pfitzner is a huge wrap for star jockey William Pike’s book of rides at Ascot this weekend.
On a day headlined by the Group 1 Railway Stakes (1600m), Pike has a full book of rides with some of the key chances throughout the day.
The 38-year-old rides Janny, Royal Toronado and Yes Queen in the first three races of the program, all of which Pfitzner is confident can salute.
“Don’t worry about Pike in the last, Pike will ride the first three winners, and he’ll ride five on the day over there in the west,” he said on SENTrack’s Ladbrokes Spring Breakfast.
“He will win the first three then he’s got a host of chances throughout the rest of the day: Yonga Lass, Storyville & Casino Seventeen. He’s only got to find two more after the first three races.
“We’re going to go west and just completely and utterly dominate.”
In one of the key WA race days outside of The Quokka in April, the legacy of one of the most decorated hoops in the state could be enhanced further in front of a national audience.
Pike’s rides on Saturday:
Race 1: Janny ($4.40)
Race 2: Royal Tornado ($3.30)
Race 3: Yes Queen ($4.20)
Race 4: Keshi Boom ($3.20)
Race 5: Starry Heights ($5)
Race 6: Yonga Lass ($2.60)
Race 7: Storyville ($3.80)
Race 8: Casino Seventeen ($21)
Race 9: Keep Attacking ($4.60)
