Which trainers, who are currently under the radar, are set to break out in 2025?
SENTrack form analyst Mick Gannon has identified two trainers in particular who he believes can take their game to another level next year.
He feels that Michael Freedman and Nathan Doyle can enjoy increased success next year and beyond.
“I can give you two trainers who are severely underrated who are absolutely going to tear it apart,” Gannon said on SENTrack.
“Michael Freedman is going that well this season and it’s sneaky, it’s undercover, but he’s going that well.
“He trained 20 metropolitan winners last year. He’s trained 17 already (by December 10). He’s flying, he’s got a great crop of two-year-olds coming through.
“He will continue to go from strength to strength.
“Nathan Doyle will train a Group 1 winner next year. I have no doubt.”
Michael Freedman is no stranger to success, winning many a Group 1 during his time training in conjunction with brothers Lee, Richard and Anthony before his shift to Hong Kong.
He is beginning to gain momentum in Sydney since his training split with Richard in 2022.
Doyle is putting together a very competitive stable with winners all around New South Wales.
