Jagga Smith - player disposals 20+ ($1.32)
The young Blue announced himself with 37 disposals and a goal against Geelong last Wednesday.
While he’s never played a proper game of AFL footy yet, 20+ for this ball magnet should be reasonably comfortable.
Hailed as one of the best ball winners to come through the draft in recent years, Smith simply picks up statistics at will.
20+ is a high bar for most debutants, but Jagga isn’t your ordinary first-gamer. A good way to get this multi rolling.
Ben Long - player goals 1+ ($1.13)
The 28-year-old went to new levels in 2025 inside 50 with 45 goals, and we’re expecting that to continue in 2026.
Long kicked majors in all but three games last season and started 2026 (albeit unofficially) well, with 2.1 in the AAMI Community Series clash against Brisbane.
He’s also kicked goals in 35 of his last 41 games, and that includes a 2024 season where he wasn’t as prolific in front of the big sticks.
This shouldn’t be difficult for the small forward who thrives in his team’s high-scoring offense.
Jai Newcombe - player disposals 20+ ($1.16)
New co-captain Jai Newcombe is the go-to midfielder for the Hawks.
Last season he averaged 22.9 disposals which included an equal season-high 32 in the Elimination Final win over the Giants.
He picked up 28 in the AAMI Community Series against the Dogs and will be breathing a sigh of relief that he is free to play after a sling tackle on Ed Richards.
We could push the boat out and go with 25+ for Newcombe but we want to bank a few early so 20+ is the easier threshold to hit.
Zac Bailey - player goals 1+ ($1.32)
The classy Lion had a career-best 2025 which resulted in his maiden All-Australian blazer, 42 goals and a second flag.
Bailey booted at least one goal in 21 of 26 games last season including 3.2 the last time he faced the Bulldogs back in Round 5.
He kicked 2.3 in the AAMI Community Series against the Suns and we’re confident he’ll hit the scoreboard again in Opening Round.
Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - player disposals 25+ ($1.20)
Nasiah is a ball magnet who picked up 25 or more disposals in 19 of 23 games last season.
In those games he missed the 25-touch threshold he had 24 on three occasions and 23 once.
He was in fine form against Essendon in the AAMI Community Series with 28 touches and four goals.
The Pies are unlikely to tag and Nasiah could roam free and pick up stats with relative ease.
